Recipient links do not have an expiration date.
The issue may be caused by a temporary network problem or by accessing a link that has already been used for recipient verification. Please try the following:
1.Use a different network environment.
2.Fully close and reopen the app.
If you still cannot access the link after trying both methods, please contact our customer support for prompt assistance.
The transfer will proceed once the recipient verification is submitted and approved.
For China, the recipient must complete recipient verification using the Alipay app before they can receive the transferred amount.
You can check and issue your remittance statements directly in the app:
1.Tap the “All” button at the bottom right of the home screen.
2.In the menu, tap “Transfer History” in the center.
3.Select the transfer for which you want to issue a remittance statement.
4.Scroll down and tap “Issue Remittance Statement” under the recipient information.
5.Choose your preferred method to save it as a PDF file.
If the SNS account linked to your CoinShot account has changed, you will not be able to log in, so a new ID must be created.
When creating a new ID, if your phone number is the same as the previous one, re-registration may be difficult. Please provide your registered phone number in the chat, and we will update your previous information.
After receiving confirmation that the update is complete, you can proceed with re-registration.
For re-registration, email registration is recommended. Also, please submit a different Japanese ID from the one used previously.
(Example: If a My Number Card was submitted during your previous registration, submit a Residence Card or Driver’s License during re-registration.)
You can request a wallet refund directly within the app.
Please follow the steps below to submit your request:
1.Tap “All” at the bottom right of the home screen.
2.Tap the Settings icon (gear) at the top right.
3.Select the Wallet Refund option to proceed.
You can top up your wallet up to a maximum of ¥1,000,000.
While a corporate transfer service is planned for the future, currently only transfers for individuals are supported. We appreciate your understanding.

You can request account deletion directly within the app. Please follow the steps below to submit your request:
1.Tap “All” at the bottom right of the home screen.
2.Tap the Settings icon (gear) at the top right.
3.Select the Delete Account option to proceed with account deletion.
Transfer errors usually occur for one of the following reasons:
1.Mismatch between recipient personal and account information: Please double-check the recipient’s date of birth, name, and account number.
2.Incorrect account type: Ensure the recipient’s account is a standard (savings/checking) account.
3.Recipient’s bank undergoing maintenance: Errors can occur if the recipient’s bank is under maintenance.
*For example, banks in Korea typically perform maintenance from 11:50 PM to 12:30 AM, so please avoid transfers during this period if possible.
4.Exceeding the annual receiving limit: If a recipient in Korea exceeds the annual $50,000 receiving limit under Korean foreign exchange regulations, the transfer cannot be completed.
All transfer errors are reviewed by our team, and refunds are processed manually (please note that refunds are not automatic).
If the refund is credited back to your wallet, please correct the information or send the transfer to a recipient who can receive the funds.
For inquiries about transfer errors, providing the transaction number will help us assist you more efficiently.
The Kotra Transfer service from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation only supports transfers to recipients classified as individuals.
However, your wallet account is a virtual account issued by our company for deposit purposes and is not considered a personal bank account. Therefore, it cannot receive transfers through the Kotra Transfer service.
Please note that due to bank maintenance, wallet top-ups are not processed between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM daily, and from 7:00 PM on Sunday to 8:00 AM on Monday. During these periods, top-ups will be automatically processed the following morning.
If you have multiple transfers of ¥1,000,000 or more to the same recipient and only one of them has completed recipient verification, the app may show the status as “Verified.”
However, the remaining transfer(s) must also go through the recipient verification process separately.
If you registered with email, tap “Forgot Password” at the bottom center of the login screen and enter your registered account.
A link to reset your password will be sent to your email address.
Due to the nature of international transfers, refunds cannot be requested through our service once the transfer is completed.
You will need to request a refund directly from the recipient.
For Korea:

The exchange rate is determined by a complex set of factors, so it is difficult to provide an exact time for when rates will change. We appreciate your understanding.
For secure financial transactions, your personal PIN is required to complete transfers. You can reset your PIN by following these steps:
1.Tap “All” at the bottom right of the home screen.
2.Tap the Settings icon at the top right.
3.Under Language Selection, tap Reset PIN.
4.Verify your identity by phone number and submit a photo showing both your ID (My Number Card) and your face simultaneously.
5.Our team will review and approve your request within 1 business day.
6.Reset your PIN and proceed with transfers.
If the recipient name was entered incorrectly when using LINE Pay, the top-up amount may be returned to your LINE Pay account.
When entering the recipient’s account name, please ensure that the parentheses are in full-width (zenkaku) rather than half-width (hankaku). Using half-width parentheses will cause an error.

To top up your wallet, tap the “Top Up” button in the app and transfer your desired amount to the bank account displayed on the screen.
You may use any transfer method provided by your bank, such as online banking or a convenience store ATM.
The balance will be automatically credited within 10 minutes after the transfer. If you would like faster confirmation, please check the processing time of your transfer method (e.g., ensure it is not scheduled for next-day processing and confirm the transfer hours for convenience store ATMs).
*Important Notice for Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Customers:
If you have not applied for the “Immediate Transfer Service” in your Mitsubishi UFJ Bank mobile banking, your transfer may be processed on the next business day.

Transfers under ¥1,000,000 can be sent without recipient verification.
Due to system requirements, transfers of ¥1,000,000 or more cannot be sent without recipient verification. This means your previous transfer was likely under ¥1,000,000, or you are sending ¥1,000,000 or more to a new recipient this time.
On the login screen, tap “Find Account” at the bottom center and complete phone verification.
Your registered account information will then be provided.
CoinShot operates using its own proprietary exchange rate system, so rates may differ from those provided by other websites or banks.
To make an international transfer using the CoinShot Japan app, you must first top up your wallet.
Once your wallet balance is reflected in the app, tap the “Send Money” button to start the transfer process.
The transfer procedure consists of six steps:
1)Enter the transfer amount and confirm the recipient’s received amount.
2)Apply any available coupons.
3)Register and select the recipient.
4)Register and select the recipient’s bank account.
5)Confirm transfer details and select the purpose of the transfer and source of funds.
6)Enter your PIN.
After entering your PIN, the funds will be deposited into the recipient’s Korean account within approximately 10 minutes.

There are several reasons why a wallet top-up may be delayed:
1. Transfers made during bank maintenance hours will be processed on the next business day.
*Maintenance hours: daily 2:00 AM – 4:00 AM, and Sunday 7:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
2. Incorrect wallet number entry may result in the top-up being credited to another customer’s account. If your deposit record does not match your wallet number, please contact our customer support immediately.
3. Transfers from Mitsubishi UFJ Bank without the Immediate Transfer Service will be credited on the next business day.

4.Transfers from banks that do not process deposits instantly
In Japan, bank systems may display a transfer as “instant,” but the actual processing time can differ.
On average, it takes about 10 minutes for the transfer to reach our bank. Some banks may take longer.
If your top-up has not been credited after this time, please contact our customer support, and we can help verify whether the deposit has arrived at our bank.
If the funds have not arrived, the top-up cannot be completed, and you will need to contact your bank directly for assistance.
The wallet account is not a personal bank account that you register or link yourself. It is a unique virtual deposit account issued specifically for you for wallet top-ups. Therefore, the bank and account name cannot be changed.
When topping up your wallet, simply use the wallet account number shown in the app. The financial institution you use to make the transfer can be any bank of your choice.
To ensure service quality, CoinShot Japan may notify the sender to complete recipient verification or cancel the transaction if an international transfer is delayed for more than one day.
Canceled transfer amounts will be returned to your wallet.
Our service only handles transfers between individuals, and we recommend sending funds only to trusted recipients to ensure safe financial transactions.
If a report of suspected fraud is received, we block the recipient from receiving funds through our service. However, due to the nature of international transfers, refunds may not be possible once the transfer is completed.
CoinShot Japan cannot intervene in disputes between the sender and the recipient. Please make sure to verify all details carefully before sending money.
After completing a transfer to your wallet account, the deposit is usually confirmed at our bank within about 10 minutes, and the top-up amount is automatically reflected in your wallet.
Please note that, in some cases, bank processing delays may cause this to take longer than 10 minutes. We appreciate your understanding.
A wallet is your personal virtual account used to access and use the service.
Each user is assigned one unique wallet number. To make an international transfer, you must first top up your wallet with the amount you wish to send. The credited balance shown in the app can then be used as your available balance for international remittances.
When using the wallet service for international transfers, you can send money even during bank maintenance hours, and make transfers in real time at your preferred exchange rate whenever you choose.
Even if you are the recipient, verification can be completed using a Korean ID.
Follow these steps:
1.Tap the “All” button at the bottom right of the home screen.
2.In the menu, tap “Transfer History” in the center.
3.Select the transfer that requires recipient verification (an ongoing international transfer).
4.Scroll down to the bottom of the transfer details and copy the real-name verification link.
5.Open the copied link in a web browser and complete the recipient verification.

Currently, international transfers from Korea to Japan are not supported through the CoinShot Japan app.
You can use the CoinShot Korea app instead, which is available for download from the Korean App Store or Google Play Store in Korea.
For transfers to Korea, under the Financial Real-Name Act, recipient verification is mandatory for amounts of ¥1,000,000 or more.
Please send the transfer only to recipients who are able to complete verification.
Coupons may have different conditions: some can be applied regardless of the transfer amount, while others are valid only for transfers above a certain amount.
For the latter, the coupon can only be applied if the transfer meets the required amount. If your coupon does not apply despite meeting the conditions, please contact our customer support, and we will assist you immediately.
An authentication link will be sent to the recipient’s mobile phone number that you provided. The recipient must click the link and follow the instructions to verify their ID and bank account.
Steps:
1.Send the authentication link to the recipient’s mobile number.
2.Recipient clicks the link, reviews the transfer details, and agrees to the terms.
3.Submit a photo of the recipient’s ID:
*For Koreans: Resident Registration Card, Driver’s License, or Korean Passport
*For Foreigners: Alien Registration Card or Passport
4.Confirm the 1 JPY deposit made to the recipient account and enter the 4-digit verification code from the depositor name.
5.Complete verification and confirm.
For events that do not issue coupons automatically, please provide the details of the event you participated in, any required verification, and your wallet number to our customer support.
Once verified, our team will issue the coupon directly to your wallet.
For transfers to Korea, under the Financial Real-Name Act, recipient verification is mandatory for the first transfer of ¥1,000,000 or more per recipient.
After signing up, identity verification requires reviewing the information you provided and checking your submitted documents. This process may take about 1 business day for approval.
